How to use every module
Start with Install and update, then open the guide for the module you want to use. The 20 module guides are the same help you get from the yellow i button in each OpenBot window.
Install and update
OpenBot runs next to the Metin2 client you already play with. Nothing is copied into the game folder.
You need
- Windows 10 or 11.
- Metin2 started through the GameForge launcher. OpenBot is tested on the Romanian (ro-RO) client.
- Nothing else: no Python and no extra runtimes. The optional external control panel in the
Panelfolder needs Python 3.8 or newer.
Install
- Download the zip from the home page and extract it anywhere, for example your Desktop.
- Start Metin2 through GameForge and stay on the character selection screen.
- Run
native\OpenBotLauncher.exefrom the OpenBot folder and pick your character. OpenBot loads while the character enters the game. - Click "Show Hackbar" at the right edge of the game screen, open a module and press Start.
Update
Extract the new version over the old folder. Your settings are stored per character in OpenBot\Saves\clients and are kept.
If the hackbar does not appear
Open OpenBotLoad.log in the OpenBot folder. If it says "PHASE 2 main import FAILED", the next line names the module that failed. Restart the client and run the launcher again from character selection.
The hackbar
The main OpenBot menu: turn the most used bots on or off with one click and open every other module.
How to use
- Open or close this menu with the "Show Hackbar" shortcut on the right side of the screen.
- Use the switch at the end of a row to turn that bot ON or off (the row shows ON / off).
- Press the teal arrow on a row to open that bot's full window with all its settings.
- Under MODULES, click a button to open that module's window.
Controls
| COMBAT / GATHER / UTILITY | quick on/off for Auto-Hunt, Mob Puller, Farm Bot, Stone Compass, Radar and Anti Ban. |
|---|---|
| HP / MP | your live health and mana. |
| Character line | name, level, map and coordinates. |
Notes
- Farm Bot needs a path with at least 2 points before it starts.
- Turning Radar ON here also opens the Radar window.
- Anti Ban turned ON here watches for both GMs and players if nothing was selected.
- Every window has this yellow "i" button next to its title.
Auto-Hunt
Hunts the monsters around you on its own: attacks, casts your skills, drinks potions and elixirs and revives you after a death.
How to use
- Click the skill icons you want cast (only learned skills can be switched on).
- Type the HP % and SP % at which red and blue potions are drunk.
- Switch the rows you need On: "Attack", "Focus", "Potions", "Skills", "Resurrection".
- Optional: the teal arrow next to Attack picks WHAT to attack, the one next to Focus sets the radius.
- Press "Save" to keep this setup, then "Start". Press "Stop" to end.
Controls
| Skills | your class skills; the box under a buff shows its duration. |
|---|---|
| Potions | red / blue potion thresholds plus the elixir slots. |
| Elixir slots | drag an item onto a slot; the box under it sets how often it is used. |
| Attack | fight monsters automatically. |
| Focus | hunt inside a circle and walk back to its centre. |
| Potions / Skills | drink potions and elixirs / cast the ticked skills. |
| Resurrection | revive after dying. |
Notes
- Focus centres the circle where you stand when you press "Confirm" in Focus Range.
- After several deaths in one hunt it moves to the next channel and keeps hunting.
- Unlearned skills are shown dimmed and cannot be switched on.
Focus Range
Sets how far from its centre Auto-Hunt may hunt while Focus is On.
How to use
- Stand where the hunting area should be centred.
- Drag the slider (20 - 80 m); the box shows the distance.
- Press "Confirm": the circle is centred where you stand right now.
Notes
- Open it with the teal arrow next to "Focus" in Auto-Hunt.
- The centre belongs to the map where you confirmed it.
Attack Settings
Chooses which monsters Auto-Hunt attacks.
How to use
- Turn each group On or Off: "Level 1" to "Level 5" (monster ranks), "Boss", "Metin Stone".
- Under "Level", type how many levels below (-) and above (+) your own level a monster may be.
- Press "Confirm" - it applies immediately.
Notes
- Open it with the teal arrow next to "Attack" in Auto-Hunt.
- 99 in both boxes means no level limit.
- Press "Save" in Auto-Hunt to keep these filters.
Mob Puller
Makes the monsters around you run to you: it hops next to every monster out of reach, pokes it once and comes straight back.
How to use
- Turn WaitHack (DmgHacks) OFF first - both drive your position.
- Set "Max mobs" (slider at the top = ALL). The range is fixed at 40 m, the Bravery Cape reach.
- Press "Pull once" for one sweep, or press "Auto OFF" to switch Auto on.
- Press "Auto ON" again to stop.
Controls
| Stop if player near | no pulling while another player is within about 50 m. |
|---|---|
| Skip if HP below 40% | no pulling while your HP is low. |
Notes
- The poke gives the monster aggro but does NO damage.
- It needs a learned class skill (cast once after login to arm it). With none learned it does nothing and says so in chat.
- Idle monsters already next to you are poked too, never the one you are fighting.
- A monster it cannot reach from one spot is retried from another before being skipped.
- A monster gives up a target further than 40 m, so 40 m is what a cape really pulls.
- Pokes wait about 2 s after a skill cast, so Auto-Hunt casting skills slows the pull a little.
WaitHack
Hits many monsters around you very fast, from a distance.
How to use
- Set "Range" and "Monsters" (how many are hit per round).
- Pick the options you want (for example "Target only").
- Press the Start button; press it again (Stop) to end.
Controls
| Target only | hit only the monster you have selected. |
|---|---|
| Stop when player close | pause while other players are near. |
| Attack blocked monsters | also hit monsters behind obstacles. |
| Check is wall | skip monsters with a wall in between. |
| Attack players | also hit players. |
Notes
- Near buildings it can teleport to reach monsters, which may occasionally disconnect you.
- Mob Puller will not run while WaitHack is on.
Speed Hack
Makes your character move faster by gliding it along the direction it is moving.
How to use
- Drag the slider to pick the speed multiplier.
- Press "Speed OFF" to turn it on (it then reads "Speed ON").
- Then HOLD SHIFT to sprint at that speed; release SHIFT for normal speed.
- Press "Speed ON" to switch it off.
Notes
- Keep it modest (2 - 3x): too fast and the server kicks you.
- The boost eases off as you stop, so the character settles without sliding past.
FarmBot
Walks a path you record and farms along it: destroys metin stones and mines ores.
How to use
- "Moving" tab: stand on a spot and press "Add"; repeat along your route (at least 2 points).
- Switch on "Mining?" and / or "Metins?".
- "Mining" tab: pick which ores to mine.
- Press the Start button; press it again to stop.
- "Settings" tab: type a name and press "Save" to keep the path; pick it later and press "Load".
Controls
| Delete / Clear | remove the selected point / every point. |
|---|---|
| Saved lists + Refresh | choose a saved path. |
| Switch channels | change channel after each round. |
| Always use waithack | WaitHack stays on while walking. |
| Dont use waithack | never use WaitHack on metins. |
| Exchange to energy fragments | trade the listed items for fragments. |
| Seconds box | wait after destroying a metin before moving on. |
Stone Compass
Points a compass arrow at the nearest metin, ore or boss and records every one it sees.
How to use
- Pick the "Target:" (Metin, Ore or Boss).
- Pick the "Arrow:" size, or Auto (the arrow grows as you get closer).
- Press the Start button; press it again to stop.
- Press "Record List" to see everything recorded this session.
Notes
- The arrow is refreshed every 3 seconds.
- On Auto a firecracker shows when you are right on the target.
Compass - Record List
Every metin, ore and boss the Compass has seen this session.
How to use
- Select an entry in the list.
- "Go to Object" walks there around walls; "Teleport to Object" teleports straight there.
- "Clear Selected" removes the entry.
Notes
- An entry is marked dead once you are close and the target is gone.
FishBot
Fishes for you: casts, catches the fish in the minigame and deals with every catch the way you chose.
How to use
- Equip a fishing rod and keep bait (worms) in your inventory.
- Under each catch set what happens to it (hover a square to see what it does).
- Set "Min cast delay" and "Max cast delay" (a random wait between casts).
- Press the green Start button; press it again to stop.
Controls
| Squares under a catch | left: "Use as bait", "Kill Fish" or "Sell"; right: "Drop". |
|---|---|
| Worm icon | go to the fisherman and buy worms when you run out. |
| Buy Worms | buy worms at the fisherman right now. |
| Campfire icon / Grill Fish | buy and use a campfire / place a fire and grill. |
| Rod icon | level up the rod at the fisherman automatically. |
Notes
- The catch minigame is played inside the game for you.
Auto-Fish

How to use
- Equip a rod and keep bait in the inventory.
- Set the two cast delay sliders (a random wait between casts).
- Switch "Start fishing" on to start; switch it off to stop.
Notes
- FishBot's Start button drives this same engine.
EnergyBot
Buys weapons at the weapon dealer and gives them to the alchemist for energy fragments, again and again.
How to use
- Go to a first village (map a1, b1 or c1).
- Optional: switch on "Route recorded" and pick a route (recorded with Route Recorder).
- Choose "Fill inventory" or "Buy set amount" (and type "Buy items").
- Press the Start button; press it again to stop.
Controls
| Delivery normal / instant | hand the items in at a relaxed or very fast pace. |
|---|---|
| Stop on low yang + Yang floor | stop (or wait) when your yang drops below the floor. |
| Auto make crystals + Fragments | turn that many fragments into a crystal. |
| Delivery Items | give everything to the nearby alchemist now, then stop. |
| Delete / Refresh | manage the route list. |
Notes
- The dealer's menu is answered hidden - no dialogue window appears.
Alchemy Bot
The Alchemy Bot's whole job: it finds its own way to any map it knows -- through portals and by talking to teleporter NPCs -- so you never record routes.
How to use
- First time: stand by the alchemist and press "Scan NPCs". Do the same next to the storage keeper (left-click it first). Then go where you want to hunt and press "Add CP" once per spot.
- Press "Start": it takes the quest, travels, hunts your checkpoints, deposits, and goes again. Press it again to stop.
- "Go" / "Go to CP" are for travelling only, when you just want to get somewhere.
- Press "Stop" at any time; grab the keyboard and it stands aside until you let go.
Controls
| Go to map / Go | travel to that map. Maps it cannot reach from here are marked. |
|---|---|
| Checkpoint / Go to CP | travel to that exact saved spot, from any map. |
| Start | the whole Cor Draconis cycle: quest, travel, hunt, deposit, repeat. |
| Stop | stop everything: travel, farming and deposit. |
| Storage | deposit the Cor Draconis now, from wherever you are standing. |
| Switch | on: when this character finishes its quest, move to the next one, and stop once every character is done. |
| Stop@N | on: stop as soon as the character reaches the set level. |
| Schimba | change character right now, and stay there. |
| Scan NPCs | remember where the alchemist, teleporter and storage keeper stand on this map. Target the NPC first if it is not in the list. |
| Add CP / Clear CP | save where you stand as a hunting spot, or clear this map's. |
Notes
- Scan and checkpoints are saved per map; set them once and both stay remembered.
- Hunting uses your Auto-Hunt settings, so set the monsters and range up there.
- It learns: each crossing it makes and any spot it gets stuck on are remembered, so later trips avoid trouble.
- The status line shows what it is doing and why it stopped.
Biologist Timer
Tracks the biologist's cooldown and tells you when you can hand in the next item - even after restarting the game.
How to use
- Just open the biologist: the cooldown is read from its window and the countdown starts on its own.
- No biologist nearby? Type the hours and minutes and press "Start".
- The window pops up on its own with the time left; "Reset" clears it.
Notes
- Each character has its own timer.
- A chat message tells you when the cooldown is over.
Teleport
Teleports or walks you to any point you choose on the map of the current area.
How to use
- Hover the map: the coordinates of that spot appear next to the cursor.
- Hold Shift over the spot to go there.
- The "Mode" button switches between "Teleport" and "Walk".
Notes
- The blue numbers are your own position.
- It waits 2 seconds between two teleports.
- Zooming the game's own map (M) resizes this window.
Route Recorder
Records a route while you walk it, then walks it for you - there and back, over and over.
How to use
- Type a name in the box (for example route1).
- Press "Record" and walk the route yourself.
- Press "Record" again to stop and save it.
- Select a route in the list and press "Play"; press "Play" again to stop.
Controls
| Delete | delete the highlighted route. |
|---|
Notes
- EnergyBot and Alchemy Bot can use these routes too.
- Playback walks normally with pathfinding - no teleporting.
- You can take control while it walks; it continues from where you leave off.
Radar
Shows NPCs, ores, metins, players, bosses and monsters around you, on a small map and in a list.
How to use
- "Settings" tab: switch on what to show, then press the Start button.
- "Entities" tab: select an entry and press "Warp" to teleport to it.
- "Radar" tab: the map around you; "-" and "+" zoom, "Map" opens the world map.
Notes
- Turning Radar ON in the main menu also opens this window.

How to use
- Open it with "Map" in the Radar tab of the Radar window.

| Upgrade All | upgrade every item with the same id as the target. |
| Sell All / Drop All | EVERY item in the inventory. |
| Sell / Drop Selected | items like the selected one. |
| Sell / Drop All Selected | every item with the same id. |
| Stack / Sort | stack items / sort the inventory. |
Notes
- "Drop All" throws away everything - use it with care.
Shop Creator
Opens your private shop with the price you set for each item.
How to use
- Tick the "Sell" box on the left of an item to put it on the shop; untick it to leave it out (e.g. keep the armour, drop the chests). "All"/"None" tick or untick every item at once.
- Type a price next to each item (0 leaves it out; 1kk = 1,000,000). WON and YANG are separate.
- "Shop Scan" (title bar): with a Trade Glass in the inventory, looks up the lowest market price of every item and fills it in, minus the "Undercut" yang (default 1). Click again to stop.
- Type the "Shop-Name:" (default SHOP; saved as you type).
- Switch on "Multiply" if the price is per piece (multiplied by the stack size). Shop Scan switches it on: its prices are per piece.
- "Clear" sets every price back to 0.
- Press "Make Shop".
Notes
- You need a shop package in the inventory.
- Prices, the shop name and the undercut are remembered for next time.

- "Pickup": build the list of items to pick up with "Add Item" / "Remove".
- "Attack": "One-Handed" / "Two-Handed" weapon mode; "Damage Hacks" opens WaitHack.

How to use
- Type part of the item name and press "Search".
- Select the item in the list.
- Press "Add" to add it, or "Cancel" to close.
AntiBan
Watches for game masters, other players, a teleport you did not make, and chat that asks whether you are a bot -- then reacts for you, and can answer whispers.
How to use
- Under "Watch for", switch on what to watch: "Game masters", "Other players", "Teleport", "Chat keywords".
- Type the "Range (m)".
- Under "Then", switch on what should happen.
- Press the Start button; press it again to stop.
- After a PM the bots keep going ~10 s (finish the fight), then pause; they resume on their own once the conversation has been quiet for 2 min.
- After a TELEPORT, or anything from a GM, they stop and stay PAUSED until you press Start yourself.
- A GM is never answered automatically - you answer, in your own words.
Controls
| Teleport | you were moved while a bot ran: alarm, then pause and hold. |
|---|---|
| Chat keywords | "esti bot?", "raspunde", greetings in PMs or nearby chat. |
| Pause all bots | stop every bot, resume once it is clear. |
| Play a sound | alarm on a whisper, teleport or keyword. |
| Change channel / Log out | hop to the next channel / leave to character select. |
| Flash on PM | flash the taskbar icon on a whisper. |
| Auto-reply PMs | answer whispers like a person: Romanian or English, varied wording, with a read and type delay. |
| Volume | loudness of the alarm. |
| Add nearest / Clear | the list of names to ignore. |
Notes
- Auto-reply answers at most 3 times per person; unknown messages get a "?".
- The bot's own teleports do not count: Teleporthack, the arrows, a channel change, a portal, a recorded route, the teleporter NPC, dying and relogging are all recognised.
Python File Loader
Runs a Python script inside the game.
How to use
- Select a script in the list, or type its path in "File:".
- Press "Load" to run it.
- "Refresh" updates the list.

OpenBot is written in Python and runs inside the game client. You can add your own bot mode: extend BotBase and put your logic in Frame(). BotBase handles the update loop, pausing, waiting while dead and the game-phase check.
